Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of saltybpeb.com and the SaltbyPep platform (together, the "Service"), operated by SaltbyPep Co., Ltd. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (26 Pangyo-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam 13494, Republic of Korea). By using the Service you accept these Terms in full. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence.

The Service is designed for use by commercial meat processors, aging facility operators, and food-production professionals. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Use of the Service

• You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction or have obtained the appropriate authorization from your employer or principal to use the Service.
• You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or network.
• You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the Service or its underlying models except to the limited extent permitted by mandatory law.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its AI endpoint prediction models, sensor integration software, process control algorithms, and all associated documentation, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by the intellectual-property laws of the Republic of Korea and international treaty. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose of managing aging chamber operations. No other rights are granted.

4. Customer Data and Process Configurations

You are responsible for the accuracy of any aging profiles, target parameters, batch identifiers, and other configuration data you submit through the Service. You grant the Company a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Service to you, including to run the enzyme kinetics model and produce endpoint predictions, batch analytics, and variance reports.

We do not use your process data to train models for third parties. Ownership of your proprietary aging recipes and operational know-how remains entirely with you.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Endpoint predictions generated by the platform are probabilistic estimates based on sensor data and published enzyme kinetics literature; they are decision-support tools, not guarantees of product quality or food safety. You retain full responsibility for the operational decisions made in your aging facility. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer or business warranties applicable in your country of residence are not affected.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and in no event more than USD 1,000. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of production output. These limitations apply even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any third-party claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for breach of these Terms, non-payment of applicable fees, or other good cause. Sections 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 of these Terms will survive termination.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea (KR), without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Seongnam, Republic of Korea, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights applicable in your country of residence.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date, and registered account holders will be notified by email at least 14 days before changes take effect for existing subscriptions. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
