SaltbyPep connects to RH/temp/CO2 sensor arrays via Modbus RTU/TCP or direct API. We support hardware from the major commercial aging cabinet and walk-in cooler sensor brands. During onboarding, we audit your current hardware setup and configure the integration. If your sensors are not on our current integration list, we will assess compatibility before your trial begins.

In our current pilot operations, endpoint prediction error has averaged plus or minus 1.4 hours over a 21 to 28-day aging run for ribeye using standard dry-age profiles. Accuracy improves as the model accumulates batch history from your specific chamber conditions. We do not quote accuracy figures independently of the cut type, chamber setup, and operational history, so the number you should care about is the one we show you on your specific operation during the trial.

For Monitor and Control plans, there is no setup fee. We handle remote sensor configuration during the onboarding call and the free trial period covers your first aging run. For Processor plans with on-site integration, a one-time implementation fee applies depending on facility complexity. We quote this before you commit.

The Monitor plan free trial runs for one complete aging cycle, typically 21 to 28 days. You need at least one full aging run to see the endpoint prediction performance on your actual conditions. We do not offer time-based trials shorter than one full batch, because a 7-day window does not produce a meaningful signal on a 28-day process.

Yes. Monitor plan is read-only, so it sits alongside your existing control system without touching it. Control plan adds actuator integration, but you set the level of automation: SaltbyPep can log recommended adjustments for your team to apply manually, or it can push adjustments directly if your hardware supports it. You decide the automation boundary.
